ABOUT ME
Artist Statement
In 2019, I took a transformative step from an 18-year career in Corporate Communications and Marketing into education by volunteering at Highgate Primary School Children’s Center and Reception class. I pursued Child Care and Education Cache Level 3 at South London College to solidify my new path. “Teaching First” was a profound and rewarding change. If given the chance, I would make this decision repeatedly without hesitation. Teaching became my passion, inspiring me to continue my studies in Fine Art at WAES College (Level 2 UAL Award) and Higher National Diploma(HND) at Morley College.
My journey has been driven by my enthusiasm for creative arts and education, fueling my goal to achieve MA and a PGCE in Art post-graduation.
I am deeply committed to fostering inclusive learning environments that nurture children’s and Special Needs Children (SEN) creative and academic development, ensuring meaningful progress for every learner.
My artistic interests encompass painting, art history, and creative research, all approached with a calm and thoughtful demeanor, printmaking, painting and ceramics even in challenging situations.
My professional experience spans various educational settings, including roles as a Teaching Assistant across multiple primary schools and collaborations with educational agencies.These roles have honed my ability to engage with diverse student groups, fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments.
My strengths lie in creativity, adaptability, and a strong work ethic, all of which I bring to both my artistic endeavors and educational roles.

I joined the ceramicist and installation artist, Lindsey Mendick!
Her artistic journey has been marked by a series of notable exhibitions, including “Hot Mess” at the Sainsbury Centre in Norfolk and “Where the Bodies Are Buried” at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. In 2024, she was honoured with the Sky Arts Visual Art Award, underscoring her significant contributions to contemporary art.
