Research

For “Woman in Violence” subject I have deeply researched feminism, naturalism, feminity and female body, some self portraits, dramatic lives, male-dominated society emotions with sculptures, drawings and printmaking as cubist artworks.

Build a mind map either made my project very useful for brainstorming or designed to help me to focus on my ideas.

Depictions of my subject Woman in Violence, I inspired by the Italian Baroque artist Artemisia Gentileschi , ‘Susanna and the Elders'(1610) painting about Susanna’s unhappiness as two elders trap Susanna, a married woman, while she is bathing.

Guerrilla Girls, A group of feminist, female artists devoted to fighting sexism and racism within the art world formed in 1985 which we call Guerrilla Girls they protect their identities. They wear gorilla masks and take on the names of deceased famous females. Also they are New York-based group of women artists and art professionals who fight discrimination women artists banded together to protest the discrimination in a male curated, male-centric MoMA show (where out of the 169 artists represented, only 13 were female). Out of that spirit, the highly vocal, social-crime-fighting, vigilante, primate-masked, anonymous, but ever watchful (and score-keeping) feminist collective the Guerrilla Girls was born. These posters exhibited by Tate. They now maintain an online presence and present public lectures and performances around the world and they have published several books, including The Guerrilla Girls’ Bedside Companion to the History of Western Art (1998).

The Dinner Party, an important icon of 1970s feminist art and a milestone in 20th-century art, is the centerpiece of our Center for Feminist Art.

The Dinner Party, is an installation artwork by American feminist artist Judy Chicago. There are 39 elaborate place settings on a triangular table for 39 mythical and historical famous women.

Created on my identity, I inspired the identity by Judy Chicago’s ‘Earth Birth’ (1983),forms of lines and shapes.

Georgia O’Keeffe was an American modernist painter (1887-1986)
She explored themes of nature, abstraction, and personal expression. Her landscapes, for example, can be seen as expressions of female strength and connection to the natural world. She close-up flower paintings, in particular, have been subject to interpretations linking them to female genitalia, prompting discussions about the representation of female sexuality in art.At Tate Modern 2016 that her famous flowers paintings are depictions of female genitalia, “Flowers or Vaginas” show to challenge sexual cliches.

O’Keeffe’s statement reflects her transition from the naturalistic mode of representation she had been taught to abstraction in her painting.

Tracey Emin, My other research Tracey Emin is a figure in feminist art, known for her confessional and emotionally charged works that explore themes of female identity, sexuality, she works frequently explores related to women’s experiences, including violence, trauma, and personal struggles.Emin’s work is deeply autobiographical, and she often uses her own experiences as a starting point for her art. This includes like abortion, rape, notable for its candid portrayal of female pain and struggle, including physical and emotional violence.

Tracey Emin’s ‘A Fortnight of Tears’ a power of trauma, she claims, that is the longest she has ever cried. For all its wailing and thrashing, this grieving process has produced an exhibition of staggering emotional complexity. Love, desire, and violence are intimately linked in Emin’s world so the interactions between bodies in the paintings where two faces collide into one, eyes open; somehow unromantic, while still wholly passionate.  Decades of dirty laundry are paraded through the gallery.
Emin participated in an “In the Name of Honour” exhibition addressing gender issues, particularly her exploration of sexual violence and female pain, including gender-based violence, human trafficking, and the representation of the female body.

Created the sculpture in basket inspired by my aunt Meltem Erden (1950-1997) A sculpture artist and painter
